I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist for my wedding. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calm and positive energy that instantly settled all my wedding nerves.
She really took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and completely brought my vision to life. I loved that she had even looked through my Instagram beforehand to understand the kind of makeup I usually wear — it made everything feel so personal and perfectly tailored to me.
The whole morning was such a vibe too, thanks to her amazing wedding playlist! She also went above and beyond by giving me a little touch-up kit for the day, which was such a thoughtful touch.
She was so friendly and lovely with my bridesmaids as well, even though other MUAs were doing their makeup — it didn’t go unnoticed. In the lead-up to the wedding, she was always so quick to reply to my messages and incredibly professional throughout.

Monica and team were absolutely fabulous, made everyone feel very relaxed and had a great playlist. They made the whole bride tribe look beautiful and the make up survived several jumps in the pool! Can not recommend Monica and the team enough - she made us feel the absolute best versions of ourselves in the most effortless way.
If I could give Monica 1,000 stars I would! As a bride planning my wedding from overseas and having my makeup/hairstylist cancel on me a few months before we were supposed to leave, I am so grateful I found Monica. Not only was she just a calming presence throughout the whole process, she is an absolutely amazing artist. She took my exact vision and style and brought it to life and still made me feel like myself, as a person who does not wear a lot of makeup on the daily. We were able to do a hair trial two days before the wedding and I thought I loved the look then, she came back on the wedding day, did a few tweaks, and I loved it 10x more! And her team that worked on my girls were absolutely amazing. Each one raved the entire night into the next day about how much they loved their hair and makeup. Where do I even begin?? Monica was an angel sent from heaven who blessed my face for my wedding day and rehearsal. Her kindness, calmness, and professionalism allowed me to have the best experience on such a special weekend. She has an incredible artistic vision that she knows how to execute so well. Monica was punctual, patient, and so kind, even setting the perfect, relaxing vibe with my playlist. I chose two entirely different looks for the trial and the wedding day, and she executed both flawlessly. She truly elevated my wedding day look into the perfect style and executed my Pinterest dreams! She is a true professional, using best-in-class products and taking so much care in how she prepares your skin, meaning the makeup genuinely lasts all day and night. I absolutely loved my makeup on the day and still felt like the best version of myself!
More than that though, Monica brought such a calm energy to the whole morning. She kept me and my bridal party completely at ease, helping us relax and actually enjoy every moment of getting ready which is so special and can easily feel like an overwhelming experience!
Nothing ever seemed to faze her, and you can tell she’s incredibly experienced in managing those high emotional wedding mornings and turning them into something really relaxed and enjoyable.

I would select 100+ stars for Monica and her team if I could! I had my wedding in Sorrento and Monica had travelled from Rome for my bridesmaids and mother. Everything from start to finish was so professional! My bridal party looked flawless with both hair and make up. Monica was able to make time for me at the very last moment for my makeup when my bridal makeup through another vendor didn't quite go as planned! She even stayed longer to help me into my wedding dress and getting ready. I honestly think without Monica my wedding day wouldn't have gone as planned and she really did save the day! Would 100% recommend Monica! Thank you again so much!

This review is long overdue, but Monica left such a lasting impression that I wanted to take the time to write it properly.
Monica was a saving grace and one of the very best decisions I made for my destination wedding at Belmond Splendido in Portofino. As a bride planning from California, there were many extra layers of coordination involved, and after experiencing a last-minute cancellation with a previous makeup artist, Monica stepped in seamlessly and immediately put me at ease during what could have been an incredibly stressful moment. From the very beginning, she was calm, reassuring, responsive, and incredibly professional, exactly the kind of presence you hope for when planning from abroad.
Monica did both my hair and makeup for our welcome party and wedding day, as well as hair and makeup for the mother of the bride, and provided touch-ups for the groom. Every look was beautifully executed, polished, and thoughtfully tailored. Most importantly, I still looked completely like myself, just better. Elevated, confident, and natural. I truly have never received so many compliments.
I also had a very unique circumstance in that I wanted to use only non-toxic, clean beauty products. The clean beauty movement has really taken off in the United States, but it has not yet fully reached places like Italy. Monica was completely transparent in sharing that she had worked with some of these products before, but had never created full hair and makeup looks using exclusively clean products. That said, she embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. We talked through alternatives, reviewed ingredients together in detail, and genuinely collaborated to source and bring products overseas. We used brands like Saie, Westman Atelier, Ilia, Kosas, and Innersense for hair, and the results were nothing short of incredible. I love people who go above and beyond, and Monica absolutely did. She did not just execute, she nailed it out of the park.
The fact that Monica was able to create looks that were flawless, long-wearing, and completely picture-perfect using entirely new product combinations truly speaks to the depth of her skill and her abilities as both a makeup artist and hairstylist.
Beyond her undeniable talent, Monica’s calming energy is what I appreciated most. Throughout the celebrations, it felt less like getting ready and more like spending time with a distant friend who was quietly and effortlessly doing my hair and makeup. Her steady, peaceful presence made the entire experience feel relaxed, unrushed, and genuinely enjoyable, something that is invaluable on a wedding day.
What truly sets Monica apart is not only her artistry, but her heart. She is kind, grounding, deeply attentive, and genuinely invested in the people she works with. I am endlessly grateful that she stepped in when she did and was such a constant, reassuring presence throughout our wedding celebrations. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Any bride, especially one planning a destination wedding or with specific preferences, would be incredibly lucky to work with Monica.
